As our group forms, and we contemplate the potential of our upcoming journey, let's
acknowledge the power inherent in our group. Truly, as the popular saying goes... "the whole is
greater than the sum of its parts." I anticipate our very presence, in combination with each other,
will provide the unique insight, light, and Contracts of Love that will allow us to stand together in fulfillment of the Law of One.
We will be working to balance our individual Inca crosses, as we harmonize and collaborate or
our collective Inca Cross; raising our vibration and awareness as we make our way to Machu
Picchu. This journey is about the story of my Andean Ancestors and the messages,
impressions, and imprints they have left for humanity.
I am honored to entrust you with their journey and guide you toward the personal attunements
that go along with learning to channel the frequencies, cautions, and wisdoms our predecessors.
have provided. This journey will require a clear, present-future mindset, in contrast to journeys
you could embark on with other practitioners, who might promote mood altering substances to
journey or do soul retrieval work.
We will not be spending undo time tracking back into the past as it can be a point of
contamination. This multidimensional journey is the story of Atlantis and why it may hold
relevance for you and our planet. For this reason, it is my sacred responsibility to invite you to discuss, with me personally, the work you will want to embark on to prepare to energetically hold the frequencies recorded at Machu Picchu and other sacred sites. This is an embodiment journey.

TRIP PREPARATION & LOGISTICS
PASSPORT INFORMATION - YOUR PASSPORT HAS TO BE VALID FOR 6 MONTHS AT THE TIME OF TRAVEL FOR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL
This means that if we go on the trip in April and your passport expires in August, then you would not be able to travel. Your passport must expire after November 2024! If you plan on joining, renew your passport right away.
HEALTH & FITNESS
Please consult your family physician or health care practitioner if you have any health concerns prior to our journey. Please use your intuition to guide you to the best protocol for you and consult your personal physician or naturopath for guidance. Keep in mind that we cannot offer medical advice on the trip. Use protocols that have worked for you in the past or those that resonate directly with you once you have personally researched these ideas.
We will be at high elevation. Although many people have no problem with altitude sickness, others may experience some. We will drink coca tea to minimize the effects. Most people are fine and adjust after just 1 day. If you take any prescription medicines, be sure to bring enough for your travels - in containers that are clearly labeled with prescription
forms to avoid issues at Customs. A suggestion is Start taking ginkgo supplement 2 weeks before; it’s great for elevation.
We recommend regular cardiovascular exercise at least 2 months prior to our departure, including mountain hikes. Even long walks are helpful to get you used to being on your feet and active.
There are no required vaccinations for travel to the Cusco region of Peru, or in the Andes Mountains. We will be in the mountains, not the jungle. If you intend to go to the Amazon on your own following our trip, then the yellow fever vaccination is recommended.
We will be close to medical clinics and a hospital in case of emergencies; don’t worry about safety in case of injury. The facilities in the Sacred Valley are good and inexpensive. You are responsible for your own travel insurance, which we recommend.
FOOD AND MEALS
12 meals are included in this trip, in addiion to breakfast buffet. The meals at the retreat center are incredible! They will consist of healthy, whole food, organic vegetarian. The daily menu includes a variety of simple and delicious vegetarian cuisine, utilizing an abundance of local fruits, vegetables, grains, and seeds.
We will be eating in clean and healthy establishments, however it’s a good idea to bring acidophilus and digestive enzymes to strengthen your gut just in case. You can start taking them three weeks in advance. This is a good preventive measure, even if you don’t take them on a regular basis. It’s also recommended to bring some activated charcoal just in case you get sick. Again, most people are fine but it’s good to be prepared.
LODGING
Retreat cost is based on double occupancy. Private rooms are possible, depending on our group size and space available in the retreat center. If it is possible and there is space to give you a private room, the approximate cost will be an additional $250.
Technology and communication. Be prepared to unplug for a little while. Let your loved ones know this intention. There is Internet in the retreat center, although occasionally the Internet can go down. Talk to your service provider to find what is available. You can use the phone on your Skype account and many phone companies offer an international text plan.
MONEY for TRAVEL
Note: US currency with rips or tears will NOT be accepted in Peru. Neither will $1 bills. Do NOT bring travelers checks!
It is recommended that you bring some U.S. currency in $20-100 denominations. Be sure the bills are as crisp and new as possible, without any rips or tears. We suggest that you wait until you arrive in Peru to exchange large sums of money for Peruvian Soles. We recommend that you don’t exchange Peruvian money overseas (including the U.S), as the exchange rate is usually very poor.
Once in Peru you can also use ATMs to get local currency with your debit or credit card. When withdrawing from the bank ATMs, you can withdraw directly, in either the local currency or U.S dollars. It is nice to have a bit of both.
NOTE: We will have access to ATMs only in Lima and Cuzco, which is the first day and the last day of our trip. It’s a good idea to exchange some money at the Lima airport. You might consider exchanging $100-200 at either the Lima or Cusco airports to have some local currency on hand for the first days of our trip.
We highly recommend calling your credit/debit card company in advance to notify them of the dates of your trip to ensure that you have your card authorized for purchases or cash while in Peru. This prevents your bank/card from being flagged for suspicious activity and being closed.
Consider bringing a flat fabric money holder to wear around your waist or neck and under your clothing. It should hold your passport and money. These can be bought in any travel store or online. There is not a huge incidence of pick pocketing where we are going, but while in airports or traveling it is best to always be safe. Also bring a second bank debit or credit card for back up! When traveling, always secure your valuables.
If you like to shop, bring extra cash for shopping and personal items.
As described earlier under costs, plan to bring cash for the following expenses not covered by the retreat fee:
IMPORTANT CONTACT INFORMATION
These are the contact numbers where we’ll be staying in case of emergency.
Elena Radford: 435-901-9986. For now.
Making Phone Calls
The Peru COUNTRY CODE is “51.” The code is sometimes shown as +51 or (051). The city code for Cusco is “84.” The city code for Lima is “01.” When dialing from within Peru to a different city code, add a “0” before the city code. When dialing from abroad, drop the “0” from the city code and add your international access code before the country code.
A suggestion regarding phone and technology: Leave the rest of the world behind, be present in the moment, and connected to the magic that is before you in the Sacred Valley.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance, which will reimburse you in full for the trip cost if you are not able to attend for ANY REASON. We are not able to relax our cancellation policy, no matter how dire the situation. In addition, in an unlikely event of problems requiring hospitalization, travel insurance often includes health insurance, which can potentially cover the cost of an emergency evacuation and repatriation to your home country.
We are not responsible for expenses incurred as a result of health problems resulting from experiences on the trip. Adequate travel insurance has proven to be extremely valuable at those rare times when circumstances have warranted it. We encourage you to investigate this on your own and come to your own decision. Some options for you to consider and research for travel insurance:
www.travelguard.com www.travelex.com. www.insuremytrip.com. A great consolidation site that compares travel insurance plans is: https://www.squaremouth.com/
From our own research, it appears that most full coverage plans range from $175 - $250.
You are responsible for arranging your own flight bookings! You can coordinate with fellow travelers.
If you decide to stay the arrival night in Lima. I recommend staying at the airport inside of the Lima airport – at the Wyndham hotel.
Group Arrival:
IMPORTANT NOTE: Arrive in Cusco no earlier than 10:30 am. Your check in time in the Hotel is at 12; p.m..
Group Departure: We conclude our main journey on April 29th by noon and taken to the Cuzco airport.
Booking Your Ticket. To look for good prices you can sign up for Trip Advisor alerts that inform you when prices drop. Have a look at different airlines through Expedia or Travelocity or contact a travel agent. You can get a direct flight to Cusco or transfer in Lima.
LATAM Peru is the most reliable option for the leg from Lima to Cusco if you do not have direct flight to Cusco. Star Peru and Taca also fly from Lima to Cusco, but they generally run late and are less reliable. LATAM flies every hour.
Planes only fly from Lima to Cusco before 8pm (approx.) If your flight arrives in Lima after that time in the evening you will need to stay overnight at the airport hotel. Or choose and overnight flight.
Be sure to confirm luggage and carry-on size and weight regulations for your airline.
As we get closer to travel time, we will send out a group email so that you can connect with those traveling in your area in case you’d like to book on the same flights as others on the trip.
Lima is at sea level so spending time there before the retreat won’t help with acclimatizing. Also, it is a huge city and with the current situation I would not advise spending time in Lima.
Remember that most flights from Lima to Cusco depart generally before 8pm. There are no late evening flights into Cusco because of the mountains.
Lima is a big, polluted city, so unless you have some interest to go there, it is suggested you do an overnight flight from the United States and or arrive in Lima in the morning to connect to your fly to Cuzco.

We are here to welcome all that arises as we center in grace and gratitude. This is a great practice opportunity to push past perceived limitations; trusting solutions will arise as we stay present, relaxed and focused on our goal.
IDEAS FOR LAYOVERS
· Identify your connecting terminal/gate. Some of you may be switching airlines, getting bags, rechecking etc. you may even have to shuttle to another terminal.
