Clearing blocks and limiting beliefs for a better life

In late 2005, I was planning a solo trek to Peru over the New Year’s holiday. Elena’s sister suggested I ask her sister for advice, given that Elena would travel to the country often, as she sourced handicrafts from the mountains for her retail shops in Utah.
Elena took time from her busy schedule as a mom and businesswoman to talk with me. She suggested books to read that would prepare me, as well as places to go, such as Lake Titicaca and SacsayhuamanI traveled to Peru alone and spoke to virtually no one for most of the time I was in the country. In my introspection and journaling, I began to understand my trip was not a vacation. I wasn’t trying to vacate anything. Rather, I already felt empty and was looking for answers on how to fill my life with joy. Elena understood that but never preached to me. She asked probing questions, gently guiding me to greater self-awareness.
Elena and I fell out of touch until 2008, when she reached out to me. She had been blessed with a gift but had decided not to accept it during most of her adult life. Now, she was ready and asked if I might be among her first clients. Elena confessed that she saw a black cloud hanging over me when we met at Harvard, a “soul fragmentation” she called the condition. Over the next year, Elena energetically worked to defragment my soul—in essence, to put the parts back together again.
Since then, I’ve experienced many changes. For example, I had been single for such a long time that I’d given up on finding a life partner. In 2009, I met a wonderfully kind and funny fellow. We began dating and have now married. I changed my career and find myself doing work much more in alignment with my core values than before.
Elena and I have continued meeting. She’s brilliant at understanding that there are seasons of personal growth. Sometimes the summer comes, and great progress is made, and sometimes there’s a need for an emotional fall or winter, times when it’s good to process the progression.
I give Elena my highest endorsement. She’s the real deal, someone blessed with extraordinary gifts who believes that we all are too, and helps her clients see that light and abundance are the true ways of the universe.
